StarchLite
StarchLite® is a natural and proprietary aqueous extract of white bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) clinically proven to reduce the GI of starchy foods through 5 clinical studies carried out on 85 subjects. It acts as a temporary inhibitor of alpha-amylase which is the enzyme responsible for the breakdown of complex carbohydrates into simple sugars that can be quickly absorbed by the organism. Thanks to StarchLite, part of ingested starchy food is not digested into available simple sugars and thus is not absorbed.
