CAVACURMIN
Curcumin is generally known as a remedy for a wide range of disorders and diseases. But it shows very poor uptake efficiency, hence little amounts of the taken curcumin reach targets distant from the gut.
By complexation with WACKER’s CAVACURMIN® gammadextrin curcumin’s bioavailability is enhanced considerably. CAVACURMIN® is a highly bioavailable curcumin powder. The bioavailability was assessed in various scientific studies.
It was proven that CAVACURMIN®:
- Was more than 40 times more efficiently absorbed compared to leading commercial curcumin supplement products or curcumin powder itself.
- Has a curcumin uptake which is at least 4.5 times higher than the next-best commercial curcumin formulation in this clinical study.
These results clearly underline the significant increase in bioavailability of curcumin in a cyclodextrin-based formulation (see also: www.wacker.com/cavacurmin).
